The Challenge

Waterloo Coffee needed a complete digital presence built from scratch. The business offers live coffee and matcha cart services for corporate events, private functions and bulk-order catering — but had no website to communicate this offering, capture enquiries or establish search visibility.

The project required more than a brochure website. It needed a platform that clearly communicated the corporate and event offering, made it easy for potential customers to enquire, was built with SEO in mind from the start, and could support paid acquisition alongside organic growth.

  • Establishing a professional digital presence from scratch
  • Clearly communicating the corporate and event offering
  • Making event and package enquiries easy to initiate
  • Supporting bulk-order and catering enquiries
  • Presenting coffee and matcha cart services clearly
  • Building an SEO foundation into the website architecture
  • Creating a paid acquisition foundation
  • Building a platform that can continue improving over time

Building The Website

The website was built from scratch by Rise Radius Labs. Rather than starting from a template, the information architecture, page structure and enquiry journey were designed around Waterloo Coffee’s specific offering — corporate events, bulk orders and coffee & matcha catering.

Information architecture

The website was structured around Waterloo Coffee’s corporate and event positioning, not a generic café layout. Service pages, event information and enquiry pathways were designed from the ground up.

Corporate & event positioning

The site communicates what Waterloo Coffee offers — live coffee and matcha cart services, corporate catering and event packages — in a way that makes the offering immediately clear to potential buyers.

Enquiry journey design

Contact pathways and WhatsApp enquiry flows were built into the site architecture so visitors can move from interest to enquiry with minimal friction.

SEO-friendly architecture

Page structure, headings, metadata, canonicals and internal linking were implemented during the build, not added later as an afterthought.

Corporate & Event Conversion Journey

The website is structured around higher-value enquiries rather than treating Waterloo Coffee as a generic café. The journey guides visitors from discovery through to enquiry with clear pathways at each stage: Discover → Understand → Explore → Enquire → Follow-up.

The website incorporates enquiry forms and WhatsApp contact pathways to reduce friction between interest and action.

Bulk Orders & Events

Waterloo Coffee’s live coffee and matcha cart services are positioned for corporate events, private functions and bulk-order catering. The website presents these offerings clearly — what the service includes, who it is for and how to take the next step.

The site is designed around enquiry rather than passive browsing. Visitors looking for corporate catering, event packages or bulk coffee & matcha orders can find relevant information quickly and initiate a conversation.

SEO Foundation

SEO was considered during the website build rather than added as an afterthought. The technical and structural foundations were implemented during development so the site could be discovered, crawled and understood by search engines from day one.

  • Page structure designed around service categories and search intent
  • Metadata including titles and descriptions for each page
  • Heading hierarchy that communicates content structure to search engines
  • Canonical URLs to prevent duplicate-content issues
  • XML sitemap for crawlability
  • Structured data for search engine understanding
  • Internal linking between related service and information pages
  • Mobile-first architecture aligned with Google’s indexing approach

First-Month Organic Performance

8,830 Google Search Impressions in the First Month. Within the first month, Waterloo Coffee’s new website generated 8,830 Google Search impressions and 183 organic clicks, with an average position of 8.9 across the reported Search Console period. These are first-month results from a brand-new website with no prior search presence.

  • 8,830 — Google Search Impressions
  • 183 — Google Search Clicks
  • 2.1% — Average CTR
  • 8.9 — Average Position

No before/after increase is claimed because no verified pre-launch baseline exists. The average position of 8.9 is reported as-is and is not converted into a percentage.

Google Ads Performance

During the first month, Google Ads generated 4,190 impressions, 258 clicks and 21 leads at an average CPC of S$2.26. Paid search was launched alongside the website to capture immediate demand while organic visibility was building.

  • 4,190 — Google Ads Impressions
  • 258 — Google Ads Clicks
  • S$2.26 — Average CPC
  • 21 — Leads

Calculated Google Ads CTR: approximately 6.16% (258 clicks / 4,190 impressions). Not a separately reported Ads platform metric.

No revenue, ROAS, cost per lead, customer acquisition cost, booked-event value, conversion rate or ROI is claimed. The 21 leads are not assumed to have become customers.

Search + Paid Acquisition

Organic visibility builds discoverability. Paid search creates immediate demand capture. The Waterloo project was developed with both channels in mind rather than treating the website as an isolated design project.

In its first month, the new digital presence generated 8,830 Google Search impressions and 183 organic clicks, while Google Ads generated 258 clicks and 21 leads.

Building Beyond Traditional Search

The next phase of the work focuses on strengthening Waterloo Coffee’s visibility across traditional search and emerging AI-powered discovery experiences, including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), structured information, content authority and entity relevance.

Waterloo Coffee is not claimed to already rank in AI search. The work toward stronger AI-powered search visibility is ongoing.

Continuous Optimization

The work continues beyond the initial launch, with ongoing optimization focused on improving organic rankings, search visibility and visibility across emerging AI-powered search experiences.

What Rise Radius Labs Delivered

  • Website Development — Built Waterloo Coffee’s website from scratch with a structure designed around corporate, event and bulk-order enquiries.
  • SEO — Established organic search visibility from the website build and continues improving rankings and search presence.
  • Google Ads — Launched and optimized paid search campaigns to capture immediate demand alongside organic growth.
  • Lead Generation — Created enquiry pathways that turn relevant visitors and campaign traffic into measurable leads.

Key Learnings

  • Build for the customer journey, not just presentation. A website that looks good but makes enquiry difficult will lose potential customers.
  • SEO starts with the architecture. Search visibility should be considered during the initial website build, not bolted on afterward.
  • Organic and paid search can work together. Google Ads captures active demand while SEO builds longer-term visibility.
  • Search is becoming multi-surface. Traditional Google rankings are increasingly complemented by AI-powered discovery experiences.
  • Launch is the beginning, not the end. A website that launches without ongoing optimization is a static asset.

These are observations from this specific project, not universal guarantees.
